Bassist BARRY SPARKS To Perform At Tucson's 2004 FALL CRAWL
September 23, 2004Bassist extraordinaire Barry Sparks (DOKKEN, ex-MSG, TED NUGENT) will be performing at the 2004 Fall Crawl in Tucson, AZ on October 16. "Fall Crawl is an annual event put on by the Tucson Weekly and sponsored by KLPX, KFMA, KCMT, Budweiser and other local sponsors," Barry writes on his web site. "The event begins at 8pm and showcases local and regional talent on over 15 stages with more than 200 bands. Cost is $5 for a wristband that gets you into all participating venues on October 16th. I will be playing on the KLPX stage which will be located on Congress Street. Maps will be available in the Tucson Weekly and on the Tucson Weekly website. Tickets are available in advance at CD City, Campbell/Glenn, in Tucson. Day of show price is $7."
As previously reported, Sparks will be filling in for UFO bassist Pete Way on the band's upcoming U.S. tour after Way was denied a working visa "due to having overstayed the number of days he was there on his last visit."
